Ways to listen to The Dacorum Talking Newspaper
Via this website
The quickest way to get the news after the recording. Just select
"Listen to the latest recording"
on the home page.
MP3 player & memory stick
This is our traditional listening method, with the players being donated by the DTN. You receive a memory stick of the recording on Saturday morning.
The stick contains an MP3 copy of the Thursday evening recording. Plug the stick into the player with the tactile address facing you, then just press play to listen.
The memory stick needs to be returned using the suplied pouch so it can be reused.
Amazon Alexa
The Alexa is now being donated by the DTN, allowing users to listen to the latest recordings of our talking newspaper.
To listen say, "Alexa play the Dacorum Talking Newspaper".
Google Home
Google Home is a similar device to the Amazon Alexa and can also be used to listen to the talking newspaper.
To listen say, "Google play the Dacorum Talking Newspaper".
